Sharing with James

James is one of Dayli's best buddies.

Look at how well she shares his toy with him. Yes, she is sitting on him.

Evening Events

Dayli saw her bodysuit life preserver on the floor and decided to attempt to try it on for size. Mom jumped in to help before a she lost it. Here she is laying on the couch and unable to roll over.

Look at this deprived little girl! Her parents must be too cheap to buy her blocks.

The link below is for a 75 minute documentary stating what you did not learn in school about money and where is comes from/is created. Please watch.

Rolloff Farm, Little People Big Farm

All of these pictures are for Andrea who loves Little People, Big World. We went to their pumpkin patch on Saturday and it was crazy busy. When we left there was seriously a 3 mile long wait to get in. We decided to not wait for the hay hide farm tour but did get to see three members of the family and met the mom Amy who is very nice and down-to-earth.

It was Dayli's first pumpkin patch experience which Jay was quite stoked about.

Vernal Falls at Yosemite National Park

Last month we went to see Jay's brother Jared and sister-inlaw Jillian and their kids. Yosemite was reasonable close so we took our chance. Jay and I am been so excited to finally visit this park, although I was very upset when I realized that hiking half dome was more like a sumit than a day hike and that it would have to be a dream that was realized at another year in our lives. I was seriously bummed! We did do a lovely hike that was challenging and made me glad that we wern't on the 8.5 mile grueling trial that day.

Emerald Pool up at the top was a breath taking sight just at the top of the 317 foot Vernal Falls. The NPS has to take all the fun out of it and post NO SWIMMING signs by an abviously tranquil pool at the top. I am sure most of you know those signs or the fact that we didn't bring suits didn't  deter us from at least wading in this gorgeous pool after such a hot hike.  It is beyond me why I didn't take a picture of the pool.

Cashews with Dad

After Jay got home from work, he layed on the couch and at a snack of cashews while he waited for dinner. Dayli took it upon her self to climb up on Jay sit on him just as you see in the picture and demand that he share his cashews.

(To those worried Mom's and Mom-inlaws, yes we are aware that cashews are a 'chokie' item and Jay took extreme caution).

Dayli's Brown Suede Boots

Here is a picture for you Alisha. Here is Dayli's favorite shoes that now fit her. She carries them around the house when she can find them, although she is not usually on that side of the gate for our sanity.

Dayli loves to pose for the camera and for those of you who do not get to see her often, she smiles like in the picture most of the time. That is, except for when she is having a tantrum and then she waves her arms, screams, and stomps her feet with a wide stance.

Morning at the Zoo

Lucky for Jay, there wasn't a lot of work at the hospital so he got paid to stay home with the girls. While I went to my yoga class this morning, Jay and Dayli went on a treasure hunt in search of a gold coin. The hunt was successful so we were able to continue our day and on we went to the zoo.

Dayli was scared of the sea otters and she clutched on to us very tightly. She seemed to enjoy the primates but the highlight of the trip was couple month old baby elephant Sam. He was the size of a donkey and so cute!  Sam would curl it's truck and playfully run around the enclosure.

Lincoln City, OR Beach Trip

We are back from our trip to the coast where we spent most of our relaxing time keeping Dayli from hurting herself by way of curiosity. It was windy and rainy but we all had a good time reading in the comfort of the house we rented. The creepy lady we rented from stayed in the garage behind the house approximately 5 feet away. The picture above is displayed on their website which is about 5-10 years earlier leaves out that little detail of their onsite accomidations. It was like something out of a Hitchcock film.

About time...

We've been meaning to create a blog for some time now where family and friends can view pictures of our trips and get an idea what we've been up to since we're always hither and thither. Please feel free to post and/or respond at your discretion.
